Khadims at the Mazar sharif are the Descendants of Hazrat Saiyed Abu Muhammad (Elder brother of Saiyed Ali Mira Datar). is advisable that any person who visits the mazar sharif visits with a khadim who will assist him in his stay at the Mazar Sharif.
One will need khadim to pray for him and only Khadims are allowed to tie the chilla at the Mazar sharif.
